The Little Planet wouldn't be the same without our friend Beavercat! (Of course, it wouldn't be the same without any of our friends, right?) Beavercat is smart. She's quick. She loves to work hard, and loves to have fun. Beavercat especially likes math problems that test her amazing counting skills! Even when she was a tiny creature, Beavercat was counting stuff. She used to count the stars in the sky and the berries on the bushes. She would count the minutes it would take her mom to make a mud pie. She would count the hairs on your head, if you let her! If you ever wonder how many green spots Ribbit has, or how many yellow circles Glowbird has, or how many stripes there are on Snouse's tail, just ask Beavercat!
In this issue of the Little Planet Times, we've been talking a lot about perseverance. You know what that means right? It means starting something and not stopping until it's done. It just so happens that Beavercat is the most persevering personality on this particular planet! (Hey Beavercat: how many P's in that sentence?) If you need a job done, ask Beavercat. She'll draw up the plans, organize the workers, calculate the time it'll take to do the job, and then make sure it's done right! Just like Beavercat loves to count, she loves to be counted on! Well, you'll be seeing quite a bit of Beavercat around the Old Forest. But don't blink, because she might be gone! She's very busy and she rarely sits still for long!
